Tree of Life is homegrown, organic “trance-folk!”

A wonderful and unique musical group built around the talents of husband and wife duo Steve and Kristi Moore, their rustic folky tunes speak of Nature, vegan compassion, animals, love, life, and the planet Earth.

Steve is a long-time prolific singer/songwriter, “singing stories”, “telling songs” and playing his original homegrown music to a broad audience. His poetic, engaging songs have captivated audiences from theatres, coffee houses, churches, wineries, bars, festivals, fundraisers, and living rooms. Being described as having his finger on the pulse of the common man, his songs connect with the soul of the listener!

In addition, three of his songs have been produced and recorded by nationally-renowned Austin producer and Americana artist Gurf Morlix. Kristi Sue Moore has an extensive musical background as a show-choir vocalist and is also a multi-instrumentalist and creates the core sound of the group, doing harmony vocals, keyboards, flute, bass guitar, hand drums, and percussion.

Together, they create their organic “trance-folk” sound…….earthy, raw, acoustic, and stripped-down .

Another unique aspect of this musical group is that 100% of all of the proceeds of all Tree of Life performances go into their “Winds of Good Fund “ and are donated to grass-roots non-profits and charitable causes. Never keeping a penny to perform, Tree of Life has donated $24,041.05 since 2008.
