Harold Brown

Harold was born and raised on a cattle farm in Michigan. He spent half his life in farming and worked for three years at a dairy plant. Starting with living on a farm he was also part of 4-H. Through a series of events and health problems he realized that his life needed to take another direction, to gain a different perspective.

After leaving the farm in 1990 he embarked on a journey of self-discovery. Living in Cleveland he connected with a vegan community that changed his life is many ways. Later he had an interaction with a steer at a sanctuary that opened his heart and life. From that point to this day he has been an activist for all that are exploited and seek justice.

Providence seems to have a hold on Harold. He has been a produce buyer for a major coop in New York and works with local farmers to bring better food to consumers and promote veganic agricultural practices.
