Susann Moeller

Susann Moeller has been sharing her passion for poetry and nature inside the ivory tower and out – as a professor in environmental studies and creative writing, a watershed coordinator and published poet, a master gardener and studio artist and as Ohio naturalist and animal rights activist. Much of it all experiences its synergy in Moeller’s EcoPoetry collections as she believes that art and nature are inseparable, one inspiring and informing the other and vice versa.

While her roots are in Europe, her home has been the US for several decades now. A self-proclaimed gypsy scholar, her life has been one detour following the next — rich with discoveries and oddities that she shares with her audiences at festivals, workshops, conferences, in class rooms, and outdoor learning labs.
